We’re excited to launch the TrueTo blog. Here, we’ll share updates about the app, accessibility tips, and insights about making Android more comfortable for everyone.
Quick answer: TrueTo is an Android app that navigates users directly to buried settings in other apps and in Android — settings like Spotify’s Canvas toggle, Android’s Extra Dim brightness floor, and Developer Options animation scale. These settings exist and work, but require navigating three to five menu levels in places most users would never look. TrueTo replaces that navigation with a single tap.
Why We Built TrueTo
If you’ve ever felt dizzy watching Spotify’s animated album art, struggled to read tiny text on a website that blocks pinch-to-zoom, or wished you could just turn off all those flashy system animations—you’re not alone.
TrueTo was born from a simple frustration: why is it so hard to make your phone work the way you need it to?
