First Time Setup

TrueTo needs accessibility permission to work. When you tap a "Check" or "Fix" action, you'll be guided through enabling it. Takes about 30 seconds.

Not Working?

Spotify Canvas still playing

Try force-closing Spotify first, then tap Fix again. If Spotify recently updated and it's still not working, let us know—we'll push an update.

TrueTo keeps turning off

Some phones (especially Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Realme) turn off accessibility services to save battery. To keep TrueTo running:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → TrueTo → Battery
  2. Select "Unrestricted" or "No restrictions"

Permission keeps asking

If your phone asks for permission after restarts, that's your phone—not TrueTo. Just re-enable it in Settings → Accessibility → TrueTo.

Privacy

TrueTo is 100% offline. No data collection, no accounts, no analytics. The accessibility service only activates when you tap a button, and only in Spotify, Chrome, or Settings. It never sees your messages, passwords, or personal content.
