Apps know less about you.
Data lets you choose how much your apps know about you.
Tracking, targeted ads and saved history are your apps learning about you from your data. TrueTo sets how much they learn, app by app, the way you want it.

Apps know less about you.

Apps know more about you.

Your apps aim ads at you from what you do in them, what other businesses send them and an ID your phone carries.
YouTube, TikTok and Spotify’s free tier build your ads from what you watch, do and listen to. TrueTo sets each on or off.
Other businesses send Instagram and TikTok your purchases, site visits and app activity, for ads. TrueTo sets TikTok to keep them or to disconnect them and clear what they sent; Instagram only lists them.
Android gives your phone an advertising ID that lets ad networks follow you from app to app. TrueTo sets whether your phone keeps it or deletes it.

Your apps keep what you watch, what you search and the sites and apps you use.
YouTube keeps what you watch and what you search, and both tell it and its advertisers what interests you. TrueTo sets each on or off.
Google Maps opens a setting of your Google account that saves your searches, the sites you visit and what you do in apps, in Search, YouTube and Chrome as well. TrueTo sets it on or off for all of them at once.

Your phone and your apps work out where you are, and keep a record of it. Each keeps working while Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is off or Maps is closed.
Android lets apps and services scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices, which tell them where you are. TrueTo sets each scan on or off.
Google Maps keeps a record of the places you go, and that record feeds the ads you see. TrueTo sets it on or off, or to delete itself on a schedule.

Your phone and your browser send what you do to Google, to ad networks and to sites you haven’t opened.
Chrome lets sites other than the one you’re on leave cookies that follow your browsing from site to site and pass it to ad networks. TrueTo sets Chrome to allow or block them.
Chrome loads pages it expects you to open next before you tap, so sites you never visit can receive your IP address and cookies. TrueTo sets preloading on or off.
Android sends Google reports on how you use your phone and when apps crash, with details of your device and its battery. TrueTo sets the reports on or off.
TrueTo sets these in the apps you already use.
TrueTo goes into each app and changes the setting the way you would. Every one of them is reversible, one at a time.
No ads. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
