What TrueTo is
TrueTo is an Android app that navigates into 151 apps and changes their settings for you. Say what you want different — less sharing, fewer distractions, easier on your eyes — and the right settings across the right apps follow. Every setting is individually reversible. No ads, no third-party trackers, no data sold or shared, no account required. The free tier automatically sends one anonymous device identifier and, if the app crashes, an automatic crash report; usage analytics are opt-in and off by default.
Descriptions
One-liner
TrueTo goes into 151 Android apps and changes their settings for you. One tap.
Short
TrueTo navigates into 151 Android apps and changes their settings for you. Read receipts, autoplay, ad tracking, and more — one tap applies a full configuration across every app. Every setting is individually reversible. No ads, no third-party tracking, account optional. Your phone was set up for someone else. TrueTo fixes it.
Full
The settings that would help already exist. They're buried across 151 apps, named something you'd never search for, hidden in a different place in every app. Spotify has a toggle to disable Canvas — the looping video behind songs. It's in Settings and privacy → Content and display, five taps from the home screen. Android has animation controls buried in Developer Options, which requires a separate enable sequence. Chrome has a force-zoom toggle that websites can't override.
TrueTo goes into each app, finds the right setting, and changes it. You say what you want different — less sharing, fewer distractions, easier on your eyes — and the right settings across the right apps follow. Every setting is individually reversible. The app uses Android's Accessibility Service to reach settings screens directly. It sends one anonymous device identifier to load configuration and, if it crashes, an automatic crash report; usage analytics are opt-in and off by default. No ads, no third-party trackers, no data sold or shared.

What TrueTo is not
TrueTo is not a focus app, a wellness app, a productivity app, a launcher, a parental control app, a privacy app, or a disability tool. It doesn't monitor screen time, block apps, filter content, track location, or add a protection layer. It configures the settings that already exist in each app. The difference: a shortcut takes you to a settings page. TrueTo goes there itself, finds the toggle, and changes it. The user never sees a menu.
Logo
Available in color (forest green background) and white (transparent background, for dark surfaces). Use the color version by default. Do not modify, recolor, or add effects.
Screenshots
App screenshots will be available closer to launch. Planned captures:
- Home screen — Starting point where you pick what you want different, with tap targets visible. 1270×760px, landscape framing with device mock
- Before/after — Split showing a setting buried 7 taps deep (left) vs. TrueTo applying it in one tap (right). Spotify Canvas recommended. 1270×760px, landscape, side-by-side comparison
- Result screen — After applying a configuration, showing "27 settings changed across 8 apps" with the checkmark list of what changed. 1270×760px, landscape framing with device mock
