1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TrueTo ("the app", "TrueTo", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

TrueTo is an Android application that navigates into other apps to check and modify their accessibility-related settings based on user-selected actions — such as reduced motion, enhanced zoom, and visual comfort adjustments. Every setting is individually reversible at any time.

The app uses Android's Accessibility Service to navigate into apps, locate the correct controls, and check or change settings on your behalf.

3. Accessibility Service Terms

TrueTo requires the Android Accessibility Service permission to function. By enabling this permission, you acknowledge that:

• The service is limited to the apps listed in TrueTo's supported app list
• The service only activates when you explicitly tap an action (such as "Check" or "Fix")
• The service reads UI elements solely to locate and verify the correct settings toggle
• The service does NOT access passwords, messages, emails, or personal content
• You can revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings

4. Device Compatibility

TrueTo is designed for devices running Android 10 (API level 29) or higher. We cannot guarantee compatibility with:

• Older Android versions
• Heavily customized Android skins (some manufacturers modify accessibility behavior)
• Custom ROMs or rooted devices
• Devices with restricted accessibility features

Some phone manufacturers (such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo) have aggressive battery optimization that may disable accessibility services. This is outside our control.

5. Third-Party Applications

TrueTo interacts with third-party applications (currently Spotify and Chrome) and Android system settings to check and adjust their accessibility-related settings. We are:

• NOT affiliated with any third-party app or its developer
• NOT responsible for changes these apps make to their UI that may affect TrueTo's functionality
• NOT able to guarantee that TrueTo will work after updates to these third-party apps

If third-party app updates break TrueTo's functionality, we will endeavor to release an update, but we provide no guarantees or timelines.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TrueTo only for its intended purpose. You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass Android security measures using the app
• Redistribute or sell the app

7. Intellectual Property

The TrueTo name, logo, and all associated branding are owned by the developer. You may not use our branding without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TrueTo is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or completeness

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or data
• Device malfunction
• Changes to third-party app settings
• Any other intangible losses

This limitation applies regardless of whether damages arise from use or inability to use the app, unauthorized access, or any other matter relating to the app.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of TrueTo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using TrueTo at any time by uninstalling the app. We may discontinue the app at any time without notice.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
