Change animation speed on Android

Remove animations turns the screen’s animations off. Developer options can make them shorter instead, with three scales: Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale.

Follow these steps on your phone.

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap About phone.
3. Tap Build number until your phone says “You are now a developer!”
4. Go back to Settings, tap System, then tap Developer options.
5. Under Drawing, set Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale to the speed you want, or to Animation off.

Remove animations is under Accessibility, then Color & motion.
